Cuadro de hojas y flores
Quienes conocen nuestro trabajo saben que amamos tanto los follajes como las flores. Creemos que se le puede sacar mucho partido, ya han visto cómo se ven las casas que tienen más verde y lo ondero que se ha puesto decorar rincones con muchas plantas.
El color de las hojas puede ser un gran aliado para crear espacios más acogedores y frescos, permitiéndonos disfrutar de lo mejor de la naturaleza. En este post, queremos realzar los follajes enmarcándolos dentro de un “sandwich” de vidrio.
Al fin podemos encontrar en el retail los lindos cuadros que alguna vez vimos en Pinterest o Instagram, formados por dos vidrios entre los cuales podemos poner lo que queramos.

A frame of leaves and flowers
Those who are familiar with our work know that we love both foliage and flowers. We believe that they’re very versatile, you’ve seen how houses with a lot of green in them look and how fashionable is to decorate every corner with plants.
The colour of the leaves can be a great ally to create cosier and fresher spaces, allowing us to enjoy the best of nature. In this post, we want to highlight foliage by framing them in a “sandwich” of glass.
At last we can find in retail stores the beautiful frames that we once saw on Pinterest or Instagram, made of two pieces of glass between which we can place whatever we want.
Pueden hacer cuadros permanentes y en ese caso, deben elegir follajes que se sequen bien y mantengan su forma y color por largo tiempo, como eucalipto, helecho, ciruelo entre otros. Lo ideal es que sean hojas que al romperlas o cortarlas no desprendan humedad, ya que ésta puede propiciar la aparición de hongos.
También pueden ocupar flores, como estátice, limonium, flor de cera, entre otras. O bien, secarlas primero dentro de un libro para luego usarlas dentro del cuadro.
En el caso que quieran cuadros no permanentes, es decir, que puedan cambiar sus flores o follaje pasadas unas semanas, sólo deben elegir las variedades que más les gusten y en los tonos que vengan bien al lugar donde los pondrán.
Para hacerlo deben apoyar las hojas o flores sobre el vidrio base y cerrar la tapa, procurando que no se mueva.

Ideally it should be leaves that when you break them or cut them they don’t release any moisture because these can cause the formation of mould.
You can also use flowers such as statice, limonium, wax plant among others, or dry them first inside a book for a later use inside a frame.
In the case that you want non-permanent frames, meaning that you can change the flowers or foliage after a couple of weeks, you just have to choose the varieties that you like the most and the colours that combine with the place where you want to put them.
For this you must place the leaves or flowers on top of the glass base and close the lid being careful not to move them.
Es una decoración muy linda y “liviana” a la vista, ideal para paredes claras o espacios a los que se les quiera dar un toque más fresco.
