Art nail: ojos
Quiero comenzar este post con una confesión: estos ojos sólo los pude hacer en mi mano izquierda, porque no logré mantener el pulso para pintar la otra. Así que les recomiendo que inviten a una amiga, su mamá o hermana, para que lo realicen juntas.
Como el diseño –a mi parecer- tiene mucho carácter, tomé la decisión de hacerlo sólo en tres dedos, y creo que quedó súper bien.
Así que a recolectar los materiales, a cultivar la paciencia y ¡a pintar esos ojos!
¿Qué necesitarás?
- Pincel fino para art nail
- Herramientas para hacer círculos: dos tamaños diferentes.
- Mondadientes o herramienta con punta fina
- Esmalte blanco
- Esmalte celeste: puedes usar verde o el color que prefieras para tus ojos.
- Esmalte negro
- Brillo

Art nail: eyes
I want to start this post with a confession: I could only do these eyes on my left hand, because I couldn’t manage to keep a steady enough hand to paint the other side. So I recommend you invite a friend, your mum or sister, so you can do this with somebody else.
As this design – to my liking – has a lot of character, I took the decision to do it on just three fingers, and I think it looks great.
So get your materials together, ready your patience, and get painting those eyes!
What do you need?
- A fine nail art paintbrush
- Tools for painting circles: two different sizes
- A toothpick, or another tool with a fine point
- White varnish
- Sky blue varnish: you can use green or what ever colour you prefer for your eyes
- Black varnish
- Gloss
Lima tus uñas, retira los cueritos y prepáralas para hacer tu diseño.
Pon una gota de esmalte blanco en una superficie plana, y con la punta del mondadientes pinta la línea superior del ojo. Deja secar.

File your nails, clean up the cuticles and prepare them for your design.
Place a drop of white varnish on a flat surface and with the tip of a toothpick paint the upper line of the eye. Allow to dry.
Rellena con el pincel fino. Si es necesario dale una segunda mano para que el fondo quede bien parejo.

Fill with the fine paintbrush. If necessary do a second coat to ensure the background has a very even finish.
Usa la herramienta más gruesa para hacer círculos, y con el esmalte celeste, haz un punto al centro.

Use the larger of the two circle tools and with the blue varnish make a point in the middle.
Una vez seco, repite con el esmalte negro, esta vez usando la herramienta más pequeña. Con el mondadientes dibuja unas líneas como pestañas.
Finaliza con una capa de brillo y ya está. Ojitos en tus uñas.

Once this is dry, repeat with the black varnish, this time using the smaller circle tool. With a toothpick draw some lines for eyelashes,
Finish it off with a coat of gloss and there you have it. Eyes on your nails!
