TUTORIAL PATCHWORK: ZIGA-ZAGUES O MINI DIAMANTS.

TUTORIAL PATCHWORK: ZIGZAGS O MINI DIAMANTES.

PATCHWORK TUTORIAL: ZIGZAGS OR MINI DIAMONDS.

In a previous post, Les Antònies we explain how to make a diamond block. In this, we will recuperate the material that we did and we»ll make the zigzag block or mini diamond.
If you remember well, we reserve half of the material: 4 squares with triangle for each colour (1). Do not we will explain how we did it, but you can see if you click on this link to the corresponding post.
We will begin putting together the design(2); we sew row on row, making sure that everything is well fitting: first with the second square (3), we add the third (4) and we ended up with the fourth (5). We have the four rows made (6). And now repeat with rows: the first with the second (7), the third (8) and sew the fourth to the previous three (9). As always, we iron, trimming and polish; we have made the block (10).
One of the good things of this block is that we can put it in the direction you want. We give you an example of vertical mounting (11). As you can see what effect most magnificent!!!
We hope you like this block. Depending on the colours and combinations, can be a very suitable for the male audience. It is also a fabulous design to do with African or tribal inspired fabrics.
