¡He tejido mi primer par de manoplas!

A couple of weeks ago I told you about  «Keep in Touch» mittens by  DROPS Design and I can already said that… I»ve knitted my first pair of mittens!

I don»t know why in my head I thought it would be something tricky or messy but when it comes down to it it is as simple as knitting a hat, you only have to go little by little and follow the pattern.

The peculiarity is that this design of mittens is mobile friendly so they have an opening for the thumb and index finger. I thought that this would make the process more difficult but it wasn»t that way so in the end it is a very easy pattern which is knitted super quickly.

What I did fail in was in the part where I said that this pattern was going to help me to reduce my stash…  My intention was good because I have many  DROPS Nepal skeins in different colours at home but I found out the new tone «Blush» (which is so «me») and I couldn»t resist myself.

Anyway, I am going to repeat the idea using the skeins I already have because I find  that  «Keep in Touch» mittens are a perfect Christmas gift so in the end I will also achieve my goal of reducing my stock.

Will you join me knitting them?
